La Petite Taupe, adorable dessin animé muet créé en 1957 dans ce qui fût encore la Tchécoslovaquie, a traversé les époques et les générations grâce à ses couleurs chamarrées et ses épisodes aussi amusants que réconfortants.
Ainsi Raphaël Schwab et Marc Benham ont été bercés par celui-ci, avant de le transmettre à leur tour à leurs enfants.
Compositeurs poétiques et fantasques, ils signent une bande son originale à l’image de leur univers artistique. Avec un instrumentarium insolite, alliant la contrebasse au synthétiseur Moog, le piano, les sifflets, appeaux et autres flûtes à coulisse et avec la complicité de Stéphan Caracci au vibraphone, les musiciens écrivent une bande son récréative et onirique, qui suit de près les pérégrinations de la Petite Taupe dans son environnement bigarré.

Film Concert for All Ages
The Little Mole, an adorable silent animated film created in 1957 in what was then Czechoslovakia, has stood the test of time and crossed generations thanks to its vibrant colors and episodes that are as amusing as they are heartwarming.
Raphaël Schwab and Marc Benham grew up watching it, and have in turn passed it on to their own children.
Poetic and whimsical composers, they have created an original soundtrack that reflects their artistic vision. Using an unusual array of instruments—combining the double bass with a Moog synthesizer, piano, whistles, bird calls, and various slide flutes—and with the collaboration of Stéphan Caracci on the vibraphone, the musicians have created a playful and dreamlike soundtrack that closely follows the Little Mole’s adventures in his colorful world.
